UPWARD BOUND & TALENT SEARCH
We have partnered since 2019 with Texas TRIO Programs, including Upward Bound and Talent Search, to work with middle and high school students from disadvantaged backgrounds to support their preparation for college enrollment and completion. We provide opportunities for students to embrace the importance of post-secondary education, explore future career opportunities, and practice the essential skills for college, career, and life success.

College 1st partners with Upward Bound and Talent Search programs to provide TRIO Students comprehensive support and resources to empower them to succeed in college, career, and life. Together, we focus on:

Facilitating academic enrichment activities in the STEM fields, tailored to align with high-quality college and career programs.

Presenting college and career exploration sessions after each STEM activity, ensuring students can connect their learning to future career opportunities.

Increasing student awareness of interpersonal skills, such as leadership, communication, collaboration, and creativity, to prepare them for success in higher education and beyond.
