Students from J.D. Salinas Middle School, in La Joya ISD, became drone designers for the day at the College 1st Drone and Rockets CAMP. The students who had the chance to participate were able to bring out their own sense of style and creativity when building their drone. Later that day, these drone designers turned into rocket scientists who constructed their own rockets which they were even able to launch! This CAMP has helped inspire many students to continue reaching for a higher level of education to one day become a drone designer or a rocket scientist of their own!
